MY REPLY TO THE FREEWILL CHICK ABOUT BEING STUCK ON THIS “LAKE OF FIRE” BUSINESS:

DEAR FREEWILL CHICK:

You’re mixing up your timelines sweetie, those who appear before the throne to be judged and then meet their second death… are not vivified at that time. Just like Lazarus was raised from the dead but not yet vivified. He went on to died a second time. Those at your GWT (great white throne) are there for a purpose. (But that purpose is not endless punishment.)

They won’t be vivified until death, the last enemy, is abolished. (AFTER rulership is abolished, including Christ’s rulership.)

BTW… the lake of fire is a lake, not an ocean.

It’s not cute of you to exaggerate troublesome chapters in God’s unfolding purpose… and belittle the concluding scene of God’s story and glory (I COR 15:20-28).

TO REPEAT: Death, apparently, will not be put to death, until after Christ puts to death all rulership, including His own.

If the timelines spook you… and cause you to not believe God is the savior of all… then it’s your understanding of timelines that’s off… not the fact that God is the savior of all.

SIDE NOTE:

Some time ago, in our chats, I quoted this phrase: “speaking of what is not as if it were“.
I forgot how I brought it up… but my line there was “WHAT IS NOT AS IF IT WERE.”
(Prequel or sequel, I can’t remember.)
And your flippant reply was something like “that sounds like a LIE.”

Your reply made me chuckle. Yes, on the surface that phrase does sound like a “lie”… but we’re talking greater things here… keep reading…

Are you ready to receive your spanking little girl… ?
As that phrase is found in Romans… in the chapter about God promising Abraham that he’d be the father of many nations, even though he was 100 years old and childless. God was speaking of what is not as if it were.
You see, Dear One… this is the heart and soul of this argument between you and me.

You are saying in essence “AIN’T NO WAY, HE’S 100 YEARS OLD“. (The old man of sin?)

I am saying in essence “HANG ON BABE, GOD IS FAITHFUL, IF HE’S THE SAVIOR OF ALL, GIVE HIM A CHANCE TO PULL IT OFF DANG IT.”

–SPEAKING OF WHAT IS NOT AS IF IT WERE–

FROM ROMANS 4:
17 according as it is written that, A father of many nations have I appointed you — facing which, he believes it of the God Who is vivifying the dead and calling what is not as if it were

You see, God is vivifying the dead.
And God is calling what is not apparent … AS IF IT ALREADY IS… HOT DOGGG.

FOR EVEN AS IN ADAM, ALL DIE, SO ALL IN CHRIST SHALL ALL BE VIVIFIED. (I COR 15:22)

STOP WHAT YOU’RE DOING, AND TAKE A SIP OF COFFEE.. you’ll need it to digest the WONDERFULNESS of Romans 4:17. Abraham believes God. And I want you to believe God as well.

(God is the savior of all mankind, especially, but not exclusively of believers. I TIM 4:10)

REFERENCE: I CORINTHIANS 15:20-28

20 (Yet now Christ has been roused from among the dead, the Firstfruit of those who are reposing.
21 For since, in fact, through a man came death, through a Man, also, comes the resurrection of the dead.
22 For even as, in Adam, all are dying, thus also, in Christ, shall all be vivified.
23 Yet each in his own class: the Firstfruit, Christ; thereupon those who are Christ’s in His presence;
24 thereafter the consummation, whenever He may be giving up the kingdom to His God and Father, whenever He should be nullifying all sovereignty and all authority and power.
25 For He must be reigning until He should be placing all His enemies under His feet.
26 The last enemy is being abolished: death.
27 For He subjects all under His feet. Now whenever He may be saying that all is subject, it is evident that it is outside of Him Who subjects all to Him.
28 Now, whenever all may be subjected to Him, then the Son Himself also shall be subjected to Him Who subjects all to Him, that God may be All in all.)
