He is not a “good luck” charm, He is the Firstborn Of All Creation.
It’s funny how “christianity” has basically turned Jesus into something of a good luck charm. Whereas the REAL TRUTH is that He is the Firstborn of all, and as such He is responsible to make sure the whole family is doing well. As the Firstborn, it’s not hard to imagine that the Father looks to Him (Jesus) to guide and lead the rest of the family. And as Tony shows, to rescue anyone in the family who gets into trouble.
Jesus Christ, is so much more than our personal “good luck charm”… we all hide behind His tunic as it were… at the slightest threat and unknown.
He is the firstborn of all creation (COL 1:16) and is the kinsman redeemer of all (see I Timothy, first chapter.)
