STACY BELIEVES IN HER BELIEF.

STACY SAID: I do BELIEVE that…His resurrection is the assurance of our salvation…that’s how simple it is…BELIEVE that His resurrection is the assurance of your salvation and you shall be saved at that moment. His resurrection is our HOPE. If your HOPE is IN something else other than His death and resurrection than I am sent to REASON WITH you so that you may PUT it IN HIM. I’, just reasoning this out in my head because God made me capable of reasoning.

Who is the “our” that the scripture is referring to? Those that BELIEVE that His resurrection is the assurance of salvation by means of reasoning and persuasion. The Holy Spirit spoke to us through God’s word.

No, no… I’m talking about His resurrection being the thing that saves you.

 MY REPLY: OH, I GET IT… you believe your belief is what saves you.

I was confused there for a second. I thought you said His resurrection is the assurance of our salvation. For a moment I thought we were on the same page.

So, you don’t think the resurrection has any real power to save… instead… it’s our belief that saves (“at the moment you believe” is what I think you said.)

Funny… I thought Christ died for all. I thought this resurrection thing meant something big. I’m a bit let down.
